Description
Great pattern! Illinois Central Railroad used this pattern, called Pirate, on the City of New Orleans and Panama Limited dining cars. It was used in conjunction with the coral pattern.The border pattern consists of a full color design of a pirate, sailing ship, palm trees, ocean and clouds repeated around the rim of the 9 3/4 inch plate on an off white base. Datecoded 1961, it was manufactured by Syracuse China.
No chips or cracks. Moderate utensil use.
