    At one time was operated by the NORFOLK and WESTERN RAILROAD.
    Since the pattern for the Hotel Roanoke dinning room was the Dogwood, which is the State Flower of Virginia-the service plate has the "Legend of the Dogwood" in the center.
    This was such a popular pattern, at one time you could possibly purchase the plates at the Hotel
    It is marked on the bottom of the front "From the Dogwood Service, Hotel Roanoke, Roanoke, Virginia".
