    VERY RARE   Bowls by this maker usually sell over 0.
    Black Hagi Chawan.  Beautiful piece and wonderful in the hand.
    Udagawa Seikoku (Waku) was born in 1940 (Showa 15)
    and died in 2007 (Heisei 19)
    A Ceramist  of Hagi-shi, in Yamaguchi prefecture. In 1963,
    he studied with Yoshida Haginen
    In 1973 he built a Dandyama oven kiln".
    In 1991 he received
    "Gengo" or "gemmo" from Mr. Sakinaga kajitani at Sogokuji Temple.
    He is not be confused with his younger brother Udagawa also ceramist but prematurely died at age 45.
    Both potters are not well known  but have made masterpieces.
    Measures 10.4 Cm diameter, 9.2 Cm tall.  Come with marked cloth and signed box.
