Description
This really nice AM and Shortwave radio has been fully restored and is ready to provide many years of service.This model covers the AM broadcast band from 540-1600 kHz and Shortwave from 5.8-15 Mhz.
It has very good reception and has a great wood cabinet and will be a real addition (or start) to your vintage collection.

Electronics/Chassis Restoration:
After cleaning the chassis, all tubes in the 6 tube set were tested and all defective or weak tubes have been replaced. All paper and electrolytic capacitors have been replaced. All other defective or out-of-tolerance components have been replaced. The chassis has been re-aligned for optimal performance. A new AC cord has been installed. This 1941 radio has a lighted dial and a buiIt-in loop antenna for the AM Broadcast band and external antenna wire attachment point for shortwave reception. The radio operates properly and provides good sound quality. The On/Volume, Bandswitch, Tuning controls and dial pointer all work smoothly and properly.
Cabinet:
The wood cabinet is in excellent solid shape with no cracks or splits or other damage.
The cabinet has a very nice finish ... see photos for pictures from all sides. The radio has its original knobs and radio back. This is a 105 – 125 volt AC/DC set.
This is a medium size radio (...see photo with Pepsi can) with dimensions of approximately 14 x 7.5 x 9 inches and will be packed well for safe shipping.
