Fully restored vintage black dial 1940 Zenith 5D611 tube radio

Description

This really nice Bakelite AM radio with a black dial from 1940 is fully restored to excellent working condition and is ready to provide many years of service.
This model covers the AM broadcast band from 540-1620 kHz, has good reception and has a lighted dial.
This radio will be a very nice addition (or start) to your vintage collection.
Restoration details are below; thanks for looking.
Electronics/Chassis Restoration:
After cleaning the chassis, all tubes in the 5 tube set were tested and all defective or weak tubes have been replaced.  All paper capacitors have been replaced.  All out-of-tolerance resistors have been replaced.  The chassis has been re-aligned for optimal performance.  This radio has a lighted dial and a buiIt-in loop antenna for the AM Broadcast band.  An external antenna wire may also be attached for more remote reception.  The radio controls (on/volume, tuning) all work properly and smoothly.  The radio is specified as a 117 volts AC/DC set.
Cabinet:
The cabinet is in excellent solid shape with no cracks, chips, scratches or any damage and has a nice finish.
Knobs, black dial and gold dial pointer are all in great shape.
A new clear dial cover was installed (...old one was not usable).
