Florida East Coast RR Mistic Backmarked Platter

Description

This 9 1/4" by 6 1/2" platter was made by Syracuse China in 1940. It is backmarked F.E.C. Ry. It is in near mint condition with no cracks or chips and a couple of faint utensil marks. Although it was made 80+ years ago, it appears to be in like new condition.
Please note. This is old commercial grade china as used by railroads, steamship lines, etc., not fine china. There may be in this kind of china tiny dark flecks, pits, etc. This kind of china saw service at least once a day almost year round. I will describe and photograph to the best of my ability any flaws such as chips, cracks, stains or excessive utensil wear. But please examine my photos and my description carefully before bidding.
