Eastern Glory Decorative Bowl Old Foley James Kent Made In England
This beautiful bowl features red roses, a butterfly, a bluebird, and foliage.  The bowl is circled in a 22k gold rim.  The bowl was made in England by the Old Foley James Kent Company in the mid to latter 20th century.  It is a very popular vintage pattern.
CONDITION:   Bowl is in very good condition. No chips, cracks, nicks or crazing. No fading or missing gold around the rim.  There are several manufacturers flaw on the bottom only.  One flaw is seen in a couple of places where the paint is smeared under the glaze.  The last two photos show those. Keep in mind the photos were zoomed to get the best photograph, therefore the flaws appear larger than they really are.  There are also 2 round spots the glaze did not cover. I think these are stilt marks from the firing in the kiln. This is a very common flaw in pottery and china. I could not get photos of these marks. They are white and do not show in photos.  They are very small and not noticeable unless you are examining the piece for flaws.
I have discounted the bowl due to the manufacturer's flaws.
