defiance motor trucks Meyercord sign/decal early 1900s INV-AM14

For sale is an original truck door decal for Defiance brand motor trucks. These were produced by the century motor truck company which was the successor to the defiance motor truck company back in the early 1900s. This is the company that took over after the Turnbull wagon factory closed. This decal was produced by the Meyercord company signs out of Chicago
I don’t know the exact age of this piece, but I’m thinking this was from the early 1900s… Possibly right around 1919. This is an original piece. It measures approximately 20 inches wide by approximately 10 inches tall. The whole concept of a Meyercord, is that you would soak it in water and then be able to attach it to the surface you wanted to… I don’t know if this piece would still be capable of that… But it would look great framed.
It does have a few nicks on it… Please refer to the pictures for the actual condition of this item. Shipping and handling will be .95 for the lower 48 states, outside of this area will pay actual shipping charges. This will be carefully wrapped up and sent in a shipping tube
