MATERIAL : Pottery of Ohi-yaki.
OHI-yaki is the pottery of Ishikawa Prefecture in Japan. It is traditional pottery with 350 years of history. It is a kind of RAKU-yaki. Deep amber glaze is the representative characteristic of that. Moreover, the tea bowl of the soft textures is loved by many masters of the tea ceremony.

MAKER : The name of potter is 9th generations Chozaemon Ohi (1901-1986).
He is the very very famous greatest potter in Japan. This is the original that he made. I guarantee it. 9th generation's work among the successive Chozaemons is the most popular. And the signature is CHOZAEMON, not a OHI. In general, it's the signature he puts for the masterpiece.
