You are buying approximately 14.0 grams (.5 of an ounce) of Mulberry Silk 100% silk hankies.  They consist of many very thin layers, each one is a cocoon that has been stretched over a square frame (there are about 70 layers in an ounce).  This is colorway ~~ EGG PLANT ~~

These are Mulberry (Bombyx) silk hankies that I handpainted  This 100% silk comes from Bombyx Mori L worms that eat only Mulberry leaves resulting in a premium quality silk that has a lot of luster and is very fine and soft.  These hankies are great for spinning, nuno felting, silk fusion, or you can even hand draft them out and knit or crochet them.  These quality hankies are soft and draft nicely.
