Clean Vintage 1949 Philco Model 49-607 Portable Radio for parts or restore

rare 1949 philco rolltop portable radio. radio does not power up or light any tubes when plugged in. rare because they only produced this radio in 1946 and 1949.    this, the second generation made in 1949 has the option to plug into an outlet or use a battery.

it had the 1949 case and instructions, but the 1946 mechanics. NOT A FRANKENSTIEN.. a rare parts reuse in the philco factory when they re started production in 1949.
the radio is not mint by any means. the leather strap is in very worn, cracked condition. does not power up. even if you get it to power up. I'm sure it will need to be serviced and upgraded. the photos are your best bet. i do not try to hide any thing... i will try to get a good picture a good shot of anything i think could be an issue.
radio measures 12 1/2" w x 10 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" deep.
