Description

Presented is a very fine quality, sterling silver pitcher of good size and weight made by Towle Silversmiths. The piece is done in a classical form. The body is raised on a pedestal base and there is a great acanthus leaf accent on the top of the handle. There is a monogram on one side of the initials MSV.
The underside is marked Towle and sterling.
This piece is in mint condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The pitcher measures 8 7/8 inches from handle to spout, is 9 5/8 inches tall and weighs 624 grams or 22 ounces.
