This listing is for a Very Good to Excellent condition, pre-owned Vintage Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul CM&StP Railroad Dining Car "OLYMPIAN" Pattern Teacup & Saucer Set.  Pieces are early Type II variant.  Greek Key motif.
Produced by WILLIAM GUERIN & CO. in Limoges, France.  Estimated circa 1900-1912 (+/-).
Pattern was produced for exclusive use for Tea Service on CM&StP Flagship transcontinental "OLYMPIAN" trains.
Sets were typically given as gifts of appreciation to Tea Service Hostesses.
CM&StP formally merged into the MILWAUKEE ROAD on 01/01/1913.
Pieces exhibit minimal signs of handling, use, or wear.  Minimal light utensil marks noted.
Gold accent trim exhibits minimal signs of rubbing or wear.
No chips, cracks, crazing, or other known defects beyond those noted below.
May exhibit minor flea bites, transfer, decorating, glazing, or mold blemishes.
Pieces are marked with appropriate WILLIAM GUERIN & CO. hallmark on bottoms as shown in photos.  Hallmark dates to 1891-1900 (+/-).  These sets were never backstamped by CM&StP.
Cup measures 1 5/8" diameter at base x 3 1/2" diameter at rim edge x 1 1/2" high.  Measures 4 1/4" across rim edge and handle.
Saucer measures 3 5/8" diameter at base x 5 7/8" diameter at rim edge x 3/4" high.
