    Description

Here's an individual teapot not often found. This was used by Chicago Burlington and Quincy Railroad in their dining cars.
Made by Hall China, it is marked with their circular logo on the bottom, although it is extremely hard to see. My pictures show the color as lighter than it is in real life and it's a true dark cobalt blue color. Marked on the side in gold square is Burlington Route. The gold shows wear as can be seen in the pictures.
The pot stands approx. 4 1/4 inches tall to the top of the finial and just under 7 inches, spout to handle. There is some missing color on the spout as can be seen in the photos. There is also a chip on the inside of the lid, not seen when the lid is in place.
This teapot displays well and would make a great addition to any railroadiana colllection.
