CB&Q Railroad Heavy Ashtray (Denver Zephyr?)

Description

This is a heavy cast metal ashtray. It appears to be nickel plated and weighs almost 1 1/4 pounds. It is in the shape of a western spur with an enamel Burlington Route logo on top. Based on its shape and high quality, my guess is that it was used aboard the Denver Zephyr, possibly in the Chuck Wagon lounge. It is a very nice item and seldom offered. There is no apparent damage and no maker's mark of any sort.
