Canadian National Railway Silver Teapot 1/2 Pint Elkington

Description

Elkington of England manufactured this individual teapot or hot water pot for Canadian National Railway.
It stands 4 1/4  inches tall to the top of the finial and holds 1/2 pint.
The pot has been resilvered at some point in its life and C.N.R. is clear on the side. Below that are markings where, I believe, the wording Canadian National Railway Dining Car has been silvered over. I have a matching creamer which has those words. On this pot, it's more like some slight indents where the lettering was.
It is also marked C.N.R. on the bottom along with the manufacturer name. Elkington Plate, England.
Good used condition. No loss of silverplate or major dents. Freshly polished to add to your dining car collection,
