BEAUTIFUL ART DECO FADA CATHEDRAL RADIO RECEIVER

Each week I bring you vintage early radio items. I have been collecting radios, phonographs, and music boxes for 47 years, and always have something interesting for sale. Here up for bid is this  absolutely beautiful 1931 Fada model 51 cathedral radio receiver. Fada only made a few cathedral radios, making them quite collectable today. The wood case is solid, and the original finish looks very good. This is the nicest one I have seen.  The chassis is clean and complete. I was able to get a few stations when plugged in with a long antenna, but the station dropped off above 3/4 volume. not sure why, so work will be needed if you need it to play better. The radio measures 18.5 inches tall, 15.5 inches wide, and 10.25 inches deep. Buyer pays shipping to 48 states.
