  • Condition: The radio is missing the two front knobs, 4 pre-set buttons are intact. The wood case is in fair shape, the station viewing window is yellowed and cloudy. The raio cord is also in fair condition. When plugged in and (L) knob is turned on, some of the tubes are lit up and the (R) tuning knobdoes change the setting, but it only submits noise, not able to tune in a station. The envelope inside the case, is very fragile.

    Description

    This offer is for an antique Sonora 5 tube,
    wooden case radio. The radio comes with
    the installation, instructions, unused warrenty
    card and a 4 page, radio call number guide. As
    mentioned above the radio does turn on with
    2 of the tubes lit up. We were able to regulate
    the volume, to an extent, and we were not able to
    tune the radio in to a station. The cord, for its
    age, is in good condition. The radio measures
    13" x 12 1/2" x 7". This little beauty would
    a great display in your home, or, be added to a collection.
