Antique RCA VICTOR consule radio Model 98 K2 (1940s??) w/original tubes+speaker. Condition is "Used". Local pickup only. Old console radio in restorable condition...I'm pretty sure this thing still works but I haven't tested it since  purchased in 2008 in Peoria, IL.  When I bought it, the previous owner plugged it in an played some AM stations. The original veneer finish seems to be flaking away and some of the wood paneling is chipped, scratched,  and scuffed heavily in some areas (please see pics).  The original inner workings are still there (12" speaker, tubes, amplifier, etc.) if needed to part out. The plastic coated buttons are flaking from age and will need repainted or refurbished or replaced (see pic).
*A fresh coat of paint would make this quite a nice display piece...I have seen a very similar console radio body repainted in an eye-catching aqua at a local antique market and I planned on doing something similar for this piece someday. But we are downsizing for a smaller house so it's time for someone else to provide the proper TLC this old radio needs to be a prized piece once again...or if you prefer the condition it is currently in.
