    Description

Up for auction is this great antique and very rare Pennsylvania Railroad silverplate dining car service 8 ounce syrup pitcher with attached underplate.  The piece was made and marked by the famed International Silver Company.   It is marked on the front with the raised Pennsylvania Railroad Keystone logo and "PRR" inside the logo.   The manufacturers marking on the bottom says "IS INTERNATIONAL SIILVER CO. SILVER SOLDERED 0506 8OZ 52 X".   We estimate the date of the piece from the late 1800's to early 1900's.  Measures about 4 1/2 inches tall, approximate sight measurements.  Has a fancy striped finial.  In very good condition with bright and shiny silver.  Some fairly minor, small scratches,  (this was a railroad used piece which probably got bounced around in a rocking train).  A great piece in nice shape offered with NO RESERVE!!
