    Description

    Presented is a fabulous Gorham sterling silver water pitcher. This piece dates to around 1900-1915. The pitcher is beautifully hand chased with floral swags around the body. Around the widest point is a band of classic urn and medallion decoration, with scrolled leaves and flowers. The pitcher stands on a square Adams style base. The interior of the pitcher is clean and ready for use, perfect for ice water on a hot day.
    This piece is in great condition. The details of the designs are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no leaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
    The underside of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Gorham, as well as the capacity, 3 1/2 pints (54 ounces/1.6 liters).
    The pitcher stands about 11 inches tall at the tallest point.
    The pitcher weighs 1074 grams or 37.9 regular ounces.
