Description
Presented is a wonderful American Arts & Crafts sterling silver pitcher. This piece was made by Samuel Woolley and dates to the early 1900s. The pitcher is done in a classic baluster form, very simple and elegant. The interior of the pitcher is nice and clean. There is a monogram of KP in flowing script on one side. The pitcher has a capacity of 8 cups (64 fluid ounces/1.9 liters).This piece is in great overall condition. There are a few dings to the handle. There are no splits, no leaks,no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The underside of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Samuel Woolley of Boston, Massachusetts.
The pitcher stands about 6 1/2 inches tall.
This piece weighs 726 grams or 25.6 regular ounces.
