Antique 1900 Gorham Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Repousse Pitcher/Jug 8 1/4"

Description

Presented is an antique, sterling silver pitcher or jug made by Gorham in 1900. This beautiful, turn of the century piece is completely hand chased with detailed repousse flowers, flourishes and leaves. The front has a sinuous, script monogram of the initials MDAL. The monogram is so fancy that it almost looks just like part of a design instead of a monogram.
The underside is marked Gorham, sterling and has the bell date symbol for the year 1900.
This piece is in excellent overall condition and the designs are crisp.
The pitcher measures 8 3/4 inches from handle to spout and is 8 1/4 inches tall.
