is the name I have attached to what I believe is a commercially dyed solid or tonal brand of fiber, and since it's been stored in my smoke-free storage room all that time, it is in just as good a shape as the day I bought it! That is one of the reasons wool has been a staple of garments and textiles for centuries - it holds up! And this particular slate blue roving has a soft 'hand' that makes it a delight to spin, knit, crochet, or weave!

Like a good many creative folk, I tend to go a little overboard in gathering my toys around me! As a person devoted to crafting, the last of my acquired hobbies was spinning - goes so well into knitting, one of my earliest avocations! Intent on having what I needed for all the projects I envisioned, I purchased more fiber for spinning than I am likely to need in a lifetime!
So it’s time for me to downsize my smoke-free, pet-friendly home craft studio collection  I’m hoping to find eBaying fiber enthusiasts out there, ready to sit down with their spinning wheels to 'spin a fine yarn' for an anticipated project, simultaneously keeping hands busy in these times when we are “safer at home”.  What a blessing to be able to turn our unexpectedly idle hours into productive ones!
