THE MISSOURI WIND COMBO 440 amp CHARGE CONTROLLER
MADE IN SEYMOUR, MISSOURI
You can connect wind and solar at the same time!
LOWEST COST 440 AMP CHARGE OR DIVERT CONTROLLER WITH BRAKE SWITCH ON THE MARKET
ALL STEEL CONSTRUCTION
Designed, assembled, and quality checked in Missouri USA using global parts.
IT CAN DISCONNECT THE INCOMING POWER OR DIVERT IT.
Comes with 5 feet of heavy duty cables.
Comes completely pre-wired as shown above.
Comes with 90 amp rectifier
This diversion controller has most of the features of our larger controller, but is much more compact and economical due to to the fact it is specifically designed
for 24 volt systems.
Comes prewired for plug and play with:
3-phase brake switch
charge controller with LED volt meter
relay
heavy duty battery cables
and rectifier for 3-phase output wind turbine connection
You can also attach additional DC wind turbines and solar panels to the board. Assembled and quality checked by Missouri Wind and Solar in Seymour, Missouri.
Some of the key features of this hybrid controller are:
Dual microprocessor controlled for stability and accuracy
Multiple user changeable settings and trip points for many various system requirements and applications.
You can change the dump point voltage level, end of dump voltage level, and length of time in divert mode when end dump point voltage is reached (between 0 to 999 seconds, or 0 to 999 minutes)
The controller will also monitor the diversion/disconnect activity and increase it's duration several times when your batteries are full. This feature is also adjustable.
Isolated Electronics Protection - Almost impossible to accidentally connect wind or solar directly to the circuit board
On board relay isolates electronics from back voltage spikes from large 440 amp relay. This is important to get the longest life out of the electronics.
High amp rating
-
Can be operated at 100% duty cycle conducting
surge
loads up to 440 amps or 10,000 watts.
Please note that the normally closed contacts can handle 100 amps continuous duty.
Battery Status LED lets you know your battery's actual voltage!
Green LED on board lets you know the controller is in dump mode
Plug & Play: Long leads for easy termination to your 24 volt battery or battery bank
Can divert the charging source from the batteries to the load or dump both the batteries along with the charging source.
Connect both wind and solar at the same time
Reverse polarity protection
Ultra low power consumption, even with the volt meter on (almost negligible).
The volt meter can be set to turn off after periods of inactivity.
Comes with 5 feet of heavy duty cables.
Comes completely prewired as shown above.
Mounting Plate Dimensions: 8 inches x 12 inches

Be aware of cheap, less capable knock-offs of our model controller that are too basic to properly charge a battery. They will attempt to only turn ON and OFF for the SAME length of time, every time, when your battery is full. This will constantly boil your battery when it's full or not properly fill it or both. An improperly charged battery will have a short life and cannot be brought back. One to two years instead of 10 years or more life! You don't benefit from returning a product after it ruins your system. A charge controller must operate a relay whether mechanical or solid state(SSRs). The relay turns the charging from your solar, wind, hydro ON or OFF to your batteries. If you have 100 amps of solar charging being turned ON and OFF to your batteries you NEED to vary the time between the ON/OFF cycles. Our controller has custom programming that cannot be duplicated by the Dime Store sellers and is, of course, user changeable. Ours will more slowly top-off your battery! It will do this by adjusting itself every time your battery is full by increasing the duration of the next OFF cycle by up to 4 increased OFF times. For example: 5 seconds to 10, then 10 to 20, then 20 to 40 and will maintain a 40 second OFF time. You can adjust the starting 5 seconds down to 1 or up to 999. We even went a step further and programmed in a "sweep time" which is a secondary sensing timer that starts directly following an ON cycle. This tells the controller that it has or has not been too long before battery charging is needed again. The user adjustable sweep time allows the user and controller to have a wide range of charging times on any size battery bank. We also pre-wire and pre-program ours for you to be able to get up and going without becoming an expert. You're taking a risk with your system if accepting a too-good-to-be-true price or product description. If you're not convinced this is the controller for you, please check our other charge controllers or ask us which one is right for you.
