However, we were recently contacted by a former Missouri Pacific Railroad Collector who is downsizing his large Railroad Collection of Signs, Dinnerware, Silverware, Lights, Water Coolers & RR Lanterns... more.
That is why we are offering this beautiful pair of vintage MISSOURI PACIFIC Railroad Lines Footed Silverware Sherbet Serving Dishes made by International Silver Company!

This is a pair of Vintage Footed Silverware Sherbet Serving DISH / BOWLS for the Missouri Pacific Railroad Lines. This very unique pair Serving Dishes from the Missouri Pacific RR Lines is clearly marked on the bottom with the "MISSOURI PACIFIC" Name as well as the manufacturer being the higher quality Company of International Silver!
These are a fine made, heavy Silver-Soldered
Sherbet Serving Bowls
.  What a special set of serving Dish that was used on the Missouri Pacific Lines!  The Missouri Pacific Railroad ( MP ), commonly abbreviated as MoPac , was one of the 1st Railroads in the United States west of the Mississippi River!  It was consolidated from other RR and become the Missouri Pacific Railroad in 1917!!! The MoPac was a Class 1 Railroad growing from dozens of predecessors and mergers.
The Silver Patina on the Sherbet Bowls shows the wear from almost 100 years, but they still have a nice sheen, even with the wear. The Sherbet Bowl stamped 1925 has a couple very small areas inside the serving Bowl with some loss of
Silver Plating. (You could polish if you like, but the current Patina is nice!)

The nice Design with the Garland edging shows the quality on all these Dishes by International Silver Dish.
Details on the Item:
- The Silver-Soldered Sherbet Bowls measures approximately 3 1/2" across & about 3 1/2" tall.
- These Serving Dishes was made by International Silver Company and are very sturdy & heavy as were all the quality products made for the RR.
- This was used on the Railroad and it has the obvious signs of wear & usage.
- There are a number of denting, scraps & nicks (See the in-focus & clear Photos) There are some heavier denting on the Bowl as would be expected.
- With the International Salver Markings on the Bottom, it looks to have been made in 1924 & 1925, with the Date Code Number in the small Square, with 'SLO 729' numbers.
- The Dinnerware Serving Dishes were actually used on the Missouri Pacific Lines and shows some wear, scratches, burnishes, a few small nicks & bumps
- However, as you can judge from the Photos, the overall condition is good with a large portion of all of the Silver-plate intact.
- These wonderful vintage Sherbet Bowls have the "Missouri Pacific" engraved on the bottoms as well as the International Silver Company along with the other information!
Appearance:
- The Silver-plate Sherbet Bowls, even with the wear & denting still have a very crisp & bright condition... AND the 'RING' when they are flicked is amazing, like a finely made BELL.
