    Description

    Offered is an Antique/Vintage ~ Collectible ~ (1) GN Great Northern Railway Dining Car China Bowl in the ORIENTAL underglaze pattern from 1935 inception.  Bottom hallmark:  8-NN ~ SYRACUSE ~ China ~ U.S.A.  Made in August 1959.  I have (3) in total all marked the same & same condition.  All near mint condition.  Measures 5-1/8" diameter X 1-1/8" tall.
    This pattern was used onboard The Great Northern's famous Oriental Limited and used in the railroad's dining cars and only "sometimes" bottom inked with the G.N.R.Y. as well.
