    Description

This photo is an excellent high quality new 8” x 10” black & white glossy photo reproduction of a 1952 AUTOCAR C75T Tractor Owned by SHORES of Framingham, Mass. My original vintage photo is dated 1/4/52.
”SAMPLE” will not appear on your photo, it is only on the scanned image.
DESCRIPTION: SHORES transportation based in Framingham, MA, had ICC #28378, with Liquor Authority in New York State. This short wheelbase tractor was equipped with the old style square saddle tanks.
If you have any knowledge of this trucking company, I would appreciate hearing from you.
AUTOCAR C75T: In 1950 Autocar introduced the all-steel Autocar Driver Cab, replacing the older cab of wood and steel. Autocar would use this ‘Driver Cab’ for the next 37 years. It’s recognizable design was a virtual trademark. The “C” meant a conventional gasoline engine configuration, “T” designated a tractor, while two-digit numbers such as 65 and 75 were assigned to two-axle models. The ’65’ had no setback front axle, so I suppose the ’75’ might have meant a setback front axle? Since White had yet to buy Autocar in 1952, this C75T most likely had a large Continental gas engine.
CONDITION: This outstanding black & white glossy photo is a newly reproduced photo from a vintage photo in my personal lifetime collection. This 8x10 photo has a white border around the photo.
