  • Condition: USED: only one corn cob holder is stamped with CZ insignia. The other one is the exact same style and a tiny bit longer in size. Maker unknown. I imagine it's I.S.Co. as they were the maker of CZ dining car silver.

    Description

    Offered are a pair of Vintage ~ Collectible ~ Rare ~ CZ  stamped insignia Corn Cob Holders of the California Zephyr Train Dining Car Service.  One is stamped CZ the other is not stamped.  This train ran the route from Chicago, IL to Oakland, CA via Omaha; Denver; Salt Lake City; Winnemucca; Oroville & Pleasanton.  It was operated by the CB&Q, D&RGW; & WP railroads from 1949-1970.  The un stamped cob holder is about 1/16"  longer in length and same exact style, shape, and diameter.  The maker is most likely International Silver Co. as I have had other CZ stamped silver from that maker, 1950's made.  Ships well packed for transport via USPS Priority Mail with signature confirmation included.  Thanks for looking!
