DESCRIPTION:  This 1947 FORD 1/2-Ton Pickup was a service truck for Romy Hammes Co. a Ford dealer with stores in South Bend, IN, Chicago, IL, and Kankakee, IL. In the background is another Romy-Hammes Ford set up as a tow truck. My original vintage photo is claimed to be a 1947 Ford factory photo. This style of Ford Pickup was manufactured from 1942 to 1947, before the post-war restyled Fords were introduced in 1948.
CONDITION: This outstanding black & white glossy photo is a newly reproduced photo from a photo in my personal lifetime collection.  This photo has been printed on excellent quality HP PREMIUM PLUS GLOSSY PHOTO PAPER using HP 02 Vivera Inks, producing a professional quality photo that resists fading over 100 years ... the best money can buy.  This 8x10 photo has a white border around the photo.
For your information, the description and documentation of this photo will be loosely taped to the back side of this photo.
