1946 Emerson 502 Catalin Antique Radio - Black/Yellow

Description

This is a 1946 Emerson 502 Catalin radio designed by Raymond Loewy, in the harder to find black/yellow swirl cabinet. Most of these are brown. Cabinet has 2 areas of damage, one crack in the upper left corner, and another in the lower right. These could be glued, but I will leave that to the buyer. Knobs are reproductions. Otherwise in good condition, and the often missing back is included and in decent shape. Radio was serviced with all new capacitors and works, though volume seems weaker than I'd expect. It displays very well, and would be a great way to get into catalin radio collecting.
