Nice working 1940 Air chief from Firestone. Original cabinet and finish, some dings due to normal use and age, original grill cloth. Chassis is electronically restored. This is model S7404-1 Special Christmas model for this year. Plate on front replaces the broken plastic one. This is a 3 band radio am police and shortwave. Outside antenna is required for good reception, has built in on case. This is a beautiful radio from this period of postwar Era! Smooth rolling top and still in nice condition. the cabinet was too nice to refinish, this set came from estate liquidation and has been taken care of all its life. speaker is original and grill cloth is still usable a couple on small flaws but still looks nice.
