    Description

    1939 ZENITH BATTERY OPERATED RADIO
    Offered for sale is a 1939 Zenith Model 4K400D batttery operated 4 tube radio with cloth covering and fold down front. I believe the two dial knobs are not original to the radio but do operate fine by turning the radio on and off and moving the dial needle properly. With the old batteries the radio would not be currently functional. The front latch and hinges works fine for the fold down front and the leather carry handle is worn but in tact.  The fabric covering is mostly very good but does have wear in some areas. The back panel is secured with four screws.  Please look at the photos as the radio will be sold as shown.  Buyer pays shipping cost by priority mail insured.  Thanks for your interest !
