1939 Sears Roebuck Silvertone Table Radio Magic Eye Tube 101.556 Pre WWII AM/SW

1939 Sears Roebuck 6151 Tabletop Radio 101.556
This radio is an incredibly rare estate sale find. I am not an expert radios, but will describe this one to the best of my ability. Please feel free to ask any questions. This radio has not been tested or plugged-in. It has been left in the original condition it was found with the exception of the wood exterior was wiped down with a clean dust cloth before photographs were taken.
This radio looks to me to be all original, but I cannot say that for sure. All components seem to be in good condition with the exception of the insulation of the electrical cord, which has somewhat disintegrated. The wood exterior is overall in very good condition, the top does seem to have a slight circular mark on it (see the pictures). The knobs and buttons all seem to function as they should.
I reached out to Radio Museum dot org and sent them pictures of this radio. They confirmed the model is 6151. The pictures posted to the museum website database are of this radio, as it seems this is the first radio of this model that has been cataloged. It goes without saying that this radio is rare!
Here is the info sent to me from Radio Museum:
“It is almost certain that this is a model 6151 based on the chassis number (101.556) and the Riders schematic that shows no other model numbers with this chassis. The schematic pictorials also match your model. This radio is from 1939 and is typical of pre WWII AM/SW superheterodyne table radios. It does have a magic eye tube which is a nice feature.”

Measures approximately 14” wide, 6.5” deep and 8.75” tall.
