1930's Zenith 10-Inch Model 49-118AB 1000-Ohm Radio Speaker w Label Tests Good!

This is a Zenith model 49-118AB 10-inch, 1000-ohm radio speaker with its original Zenith label. This particular speaker came out of a 1937 Zenith model 6S152 console, but I know this speaker was used in a number of fine Zenith consoles and tombstone radios in the 1930’s. It is exactly as I found it; the field coil tests good at 1000 ohms. If you’ve been looking for one of these and feared that you’d never find such a nice-looking one, this is your lucky day; it will be a long time before you find another.
