Description

A large broadside advertisement heralding the early commercial trucks produced by the Wyckoff, Church, and Partridge Co. (WCP) of New York. The print, featuring a detailed lithograph illustration of the firm's 4 1/2 ton model, was sent under the same cover as a typed letter, to James Watson and Sons of Wilmington, Delaware (previously known as Riverview Wagon Works) an early customizer of wagons and trucks which crafted special vehicles (bookmobiles, paddy wagons, etc.).
The Watson firm's photo archive is held by the Hagley Museum in Delaware. This broadside unrecorded with none appearing in commerce (as of May 2021).
