A fine and impressive vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver cow creamer made in 18th century style; an addition to our silver teaware collection.
This vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver cow creamer has been modelled in the style of an 18th century creamer.
The plain body of the creamer is embellished with chased decoration replicating the details of the cow's anatomical features.
The back of the cow is fitted with a hinged hallmarked, shaped cover encompassed with chased floral decoration and surmounted with a finial modelled in the form of a fly/insect.
This impressive creamer is fitted with a loop handle, modelled in the form of the cow's tail.
Condition
This vintage silver cow creamer is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the cow and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of vintage silverware.
