    Eight sided gold token dated 1849. Indian head with thirteen stars. Reverse is written CALIFORNIA GOLD with laurel leaves. The date is not a guarantee of the time of manufacture.
    The pin portion is very neatly soldered on to the back. The pin is gold filled. The weight is 0.75 grams complete. It appears to be in very good condition.
