    This auction is for a great vintage, if not antique lot of thimbles.  This and other items we now have listed have been purchased at the recent rural Kansas estate auction. This listing:
    12 thimbles
    4 plastic
    the other 8 are all metal
    2 band shape with open top
    all appear to be adult sizes
    great shape with no piercing holes noted but one is rusty
    surely dates from the 1940s through the 1960s
    color shade is accurate on my monitor
    appears to have been stored for years
